"A woman suffered moderate injuries this morning when she fell about 40 feet from a Mount Tamalpais trail into a creek in Marin County. The woman and some friends were hiking at about 10:40 a.m. today on the Cataract Trail near Cataract Falls, about 2.5 miles north of Stinson Beach and four miles northwest of Muir Woods National Monument, when she fell off the trail and down into the creek. She was located by a CHP air crew in a helicopter, and by Marin County firefighters. A paramedic was lowered down to the woman in the creek using a helicopter. The woman and the paramedic were then hoisted out of the ravine and flown to a waiting Marin County ambulance, said CHP Flight Officer-Paramedic Shaun Bouyea."
