Wildlife cameras set up on a beach just north of Shell Beach in Inverness captured a very large male mountain lion on Thursday night around midnight. This was the same spot the cameras captured a mountain lion a few months ago. Other residents reported hearing a mountain lion screaming around 5pm on Wednesday evening. The sightings have been reported to the state and national parks. Be sure to use caution when hiking in the area around dusk or at night. (Thx SA)
