Via PRNPS about Drakes closing this week due to resurgence of Elephant Seals: "Drakes Beach area has re-opened. A few elephant seals are still on the beach, so please stay at least 25 ft away from them. Park staff & docents will be onsite this weekend to ensure the safety of the seals and visitors. Check back for updates in case beach access changes."
